Welcome to the future of tennis training.

THe problem: How we hit

The biggest problem most tennis players have is using their ARMS to generate the force behind the swing.

From a technical standpoint, this causes numerous problems when striking the ball:

  • Contacting the ball too close to the body

  • Not contacting the ball out in front

  • Not using the hips and shoulders enough when hitting the ball

These things can cause poor shots, lack of control, lack of spin, as well as injuries such as the dreaded “tennis elbow.”

HOW DO THE PROS HIT?

Unlike the rest of us, pro tennis players DON’T use their arms to create the power behind the shot. They use their bodyweight, and PHYSICS.

The best Tennis players in the world all get their elbows far away from their bodies on their swings. Doing so creates tremendous amounts of LEVERAGE. The longer the lever, the more force is created at the end of the lever. Think of a whip; the longer the whip, the louder the whip crack. The pros use their bodies to create the force behind the shot, and their arms to whip around the ball to create spin.

It doesn’t matter whether the arm is fully straightened or slightly bent; both versions have a lot of space between the elbow and the body.

When the pro tennis players strike the ball, their arms are mostly loose and relaxed. You CANNOT create whip like a pro tennis player with a stiff arm.

the solution: the prostrap

The ProStrap is the FIRST tennis training tool that allows you to hit a full ground stroke while training on the court. Virtually NO OTHER DEVICE allows you to do so.

The Prostrap employs a resistance band attached to the wrist and hip, enabling a full ground stroke and providing immediate feedback to develop correct muscle memory. This is one of the MOST DIFFICULT things for a coach to teach and a student to learn, but with the Prostrap, You can feel what it’s like to strike the ball the way the pros do.

For use in training sessions such as a ball machine, drop feed, or racket feed, The Prostrap can improve your swing in a fraction of the time.

How does the prostrap work?

By stretching out, pulling the cord tight and keeping it tight through the entire swing, your body will “learn” where it needs to be when striking the ball, increasing your LEVERAGE with your shot and improving your technique.

In doing so, you will feel yourself using your BODY MORE and your ARM LESS during the swing, generating both MORE POWER and MORE SPIN with far less effort.

Each ProStrap includes bands of varying lengths to suit different swings, promoting proper spacing and full utilization of the body during a swing.
